Hello Gator Families,

One of the best parts of being on swim team is the friendships that are made along the way. To help foster those connections, we're excited to offer our Gator Buddy Program again this season!

The Gator Buddy Program pairs an older swimmer with a younger swimmer to create a fun, supportive connection throughout the season. Buddies can cheer each other on at meets, offer encouragement during practices, celebrate successes, and help make our youngest Gators feel welcomed and confident as they grow in the sport.

For our older swimmers, it's a wonderful opportunity to be a role model, build leadership skills, and make a lasting impact on a younger teammate. For our younger swimmers, it's a chance to have a friendly face in their corner and a fellow Gator to look up to.

Whether it's a high-five after a race, a word of encouragement before an event, or simply getting to know a new teammate, the Gator Buddy Program helps strengthen the sense of community that makes our swim team so special.
